The first category includes buses, trolleybuses, trams, subways, and commuter trains. The second category includes suburban buses and trains. <\/p>\n<p>City buses and trolleybuses run from 05:00 to 00:00. Trams \u2014 from 05:30 to 01:00 (Fri and Sat \u2014 until 02:30). Metro \u2014 from 05:30 to 00:30, except on Fridays and Saturdays, when 2 of the three lines (2nd and 3rd) operate until 02:30 at night. <\/p>\n<p>You can view all bus\/trolleybus routes here.<\/p>\n<h2>Travel prices in Athens<\/h2>\n<p>A one-time ticket for one trip to Athens costs \u20ac1.4 and is valid for 90 minutes after composting without transfer restrictions. In buses\/trolleybuses, the ticket is composted at the entrance, in the tram\/skytrain \u2014 on the platform, in the subway \u2014 in front of the escalator. <\/p>\n<p>An express bus ticket (X93, X95, X96, X97) can be purchased from the driver, at the ticket office or at the vending machine. <\/p>\n<h2>Discounts on travel in Athens<\/h2>\n<p>In Athens, there are discounts on travel for children (7-12 years old) and teenagers (13-18 years old), as well as for people over 65. By presenting your ID card, you will pay exactly half of the ticket price for all types of public transport. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note: <\/strong> city tickets are not valid on routes going to the airport, on express buses and on commuter trains outside the city limits. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Athens Airport: how to get there?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p \"=\"\" express buses x93, x95, x96, x97 run to athens airport. travel time is 63, 70, 90 and 100 minutes, respectively. a transfer ticket costs \u20ac9 one way. return can be purchased at discount for 16 euros. pp>A 3-day (72-hour) Athena Card ticket is also available for one trip to and from the airport for 22 euros (neither a 24-hour nor a 5-day ticket is valid for a trip to the airport).
