There are two ways to check–in (check-in) – online or at the airport.
Online check-in for a flight
Remember the golden rule: experienced travelers check in for a flight in advance and online. There is at least one weighty argument in favor of this – many airlines have paid check-in at the airport. To avoid overpayments, use an online check-in. Check-in for most airlines opens 24-48 hours before the flight and closes 2 hours before departure.

How do I check in for a flight online?
To make a check-in, go to the airline’s website or use its application. You need to find the “Check-in” page. Enter your booking number and last name in the designated fields and follow the instructions below.
If you have an account on the airline’s website, you can log into your Personal Account and register directly there. As a result, you will receive a boarding pass – the main document that is necessary for successful boarding on your flight.
Do I need to print the boarding pass?
An electronic ticket saved on your smartphone is often enough. BUT if you are flying with a low-cost airline, then do not be lazy and print out a ticket to be safe.
You can book a hotel with a discount of up to -65% on the website.
Check-in at the airport
This is the first stage to be completed upon arrival. Basically, check-in starts 2 hours in advance and ends 40 minutes before departure. To do this, go to the check-in desk and present your passport, or go to the self-registration kiosks and do this procedure yourself. If you have luggage, hand it over and go to passport and customs control.
And most importantly, take a closer look at your boarding pass – your gate number is indicated there. Follow him and wait for your flight.
If you have already checked in for a flight online, you do not need to check in at the airport again. Go straight to the drop-off counters to check in your luggage (if you have one) and then proceed to the hand luggage check counters.
